A few good Yoga Poses for Spring

Spring is Kapha time, heavy, earthy and lots of water. It is the season to keep moving, getting rid of congestion and heaviness.  Practice in an energetic, stimulating way, keeping up your effort.  After warming up with gentle stretches do some sun salutations (surya namaskar), a warming flow.  Backbends  are good for opening up your chest/heart space.  Here I am doing cobra pose (bhujangasana) and a supported bridge pose, with my sacrum on a block.
