April Events: Cooking and Creating a Healthy Daily Routine!

Here are 2 events I am hosting in April:  Spring Cooking at my house on Sunday, April 29 and Creating a Healthy Daily Routine at Circle Yoga on Sunday, April 22.    
 
“Create a Healthy Daily Routine with Ayurveda
“When you establish a healthy routine for both morning and evening, it frames your day and sets a positive tone.  This can contribute to a sense of calm and well-being, which is especially useful in unsettled and difficult times.   Using the wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda you will learn the importance of a daily routine for managing stress and maintaining vitality and health.  We will review the recommended practices and why they are each beneficial.  There will be some demonstrations, and we will try out some of the practices to help you decide which ones you feel comfortable incorporating into your day.  Bring an open mind and a pair of old socks, and you will have a chance to taste a delicious digestive herbal tea.”

Spring Cooking Workshop
I have a couple of spaces left in my Cooking for Spring Workshop on Sunday, April 29 from 1:30 to 4:30.  This is at my house in Silver Spring.  Come and learn to cook tasty, vegetarian Indian meals!  We will make several dishes and a tasty herbal tea,  everyone helps prepare the meal, and then we all eat together.  If you want to see pictures from past workshops check them out on this blog.  Contact me at dhelfeld@starpower.net to reserve your place!
