Recipe for summer: Hibiscus Mint Cool Tea

This is a great and refreshing tea for the hot days of summer!

Hibiscus Mint Cool Tea

1 gallon glass jar
2 to 3 T of dried hibiscus flowers or 1 to 2 t of powdered hibiscus
6 to 12 sprigs of fresh mint
1 to 3 T maple syrup

Put hibiscus and mint in the jar.  Add cold filtered water.  Place jar outside where it will get some sun for 3 or more hours.     Strain the tea into a pitcher, stir in the maple syrup, cover and refrigerate.   Before drinking, let your cup of tea sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.

These are pictures of the tea before and after brewing.
