As we all get back into our normal routines after the holidays, I wanted to
remind you of 3 events coming up soon!
Yoga for Osteoporosis on Saturday, January 5th from 2 to 5
pm. This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to build
healthier and stronger bones.
There are just a few openings left! Let me know if you have any
questions. It is at Circle Yoga in Chevy Chase DC. Register at
Ayurveda
Support Circle on Tuesday, January 8th from 7:30 to 9 pm. This group
meets quarterly at my house in Silver Spring. There is no fee. It is an
opportunity for those interested in Ayurveda to both share their knowledge and
learn from others. At this meeting we will focus on how we keep healthy in the
winter season, especially during and after the holidays.
A seasonal

Winter
Cooking Workshop on Sunday, January 20th from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. This is
my first Cooking Workshop of the new year. These are hands on workshop in which
everyone helps prepare the food and then we all eat together. We make Indian
Vegetarian, Ayurvedic cuisine. All participants receive copies of the recipes
and other handouts related to Ayurveda and healthy eating. If you cannot
make the January workshop, there is one scheduled for February 10th. The cost is
