Happy Belated Mother’s Day to all mothers, and if you are not able to see your
children in person, I hope you can talk to them or see them virtually!
I read this poem in my on line yoga classes last week, and several people
asked for a copy. It speaks to me and the times.
Self-Acceptance
by Danna Faulds
In the midst of difficulty,
my curiosity is piqued
and I aim the lance of
self-inquiry into the
center of my deepest fears.
I give myself permission
to feel exactly what I feel,
to be just as I am, and in
that self-acceptance I find
energy, awareness, and a
thousand gifts I never
guessed were with me
all along.
If you are taking more walks than usual, getting outside safely and
enjoying the beauty that mother nature provides for us in spring, you might want
to take extra care of your feet. I will be teaching a 1 1/2 hour workshop
called Yoga for Healthy Feet next Saturday, May 16th through Circle Yoga on
Zoom. It is from 2 to 3:30. A description and registration information is
here:
Stay
healthy and safe! And let me know if you have made any of the recipes I have
posted.
