Winter Cooking Classes and Some Advice for Winter!

I have 2 Winter Cooking Workshops coming up.

One will be on Sunday, January 12th from 3 to 6 pm.  A few people have already signed up, so please reserve your space soon.
The second will be on Sunday afternoon, February 23rd, exact time to be determined.

They are at my house in Silver Spring, and the cost is $55.
At my Cooking Classes, we make food that is good for the season, you will learn a little about Ayurveda and living in harmony with nature, and everyone helps prepare the meal.  Then we all eat together in a peaceful setting.  Handouts include all the recipes, information about Ayurveda and where to find the ingredients.  There will be a take away of some of the hard to find ingredients.  Below are plates of food from last winter’s cooking workshops.

And Staying Healthy Winter Advice:  consider using nasya oil. Nasya is nose drops, comprised of oils and herbs.  Not only does it help moisturize and lubricate your nasal passages and help relieve sinus congestion, but it also serves as a protective barrier from germs.  It is especially recommended during the cold, dry months of winter.  You can purchase it on line, or if you live near Silver Spring,

I sell Banyan Botanical’s nasya oil for $9 a bottle.  I can also show you how to use it.
